Just who is "The
Briarwood Group"
T.B.G. - International School of English (ISE) serves the
International community in several US cities and overseas. Our
English as Business Language (EBL/ESL) training program
for teachers has a 25+ year track record throughout the world.
The purpose of the International
School of English (ISE): is to equip you in speaking the English or
Spanish
language, and to prepare you for life in the US and in the market
places of the world. ISE offers the international student much more
than EBL/ESL/SBL courses. We offer international students immigration
information, Citizenship classes, career counseling, employment
links, housing location assistance, and much more.
ISE also trains EBL/ESL teachers
so that they can effectively teach the English language to
internationals in their own communities within the United States and
people internationally. We are starting broad range projects in
Djibouti, Mexico and elsewhere. The Briarwood Group is a Non-Profit
Group (NPO) that expresses itself in Language Arts, Projects and
Consulting (www.thebriarwoodgroup.com),
ISE is our Language Arts expression.
As you improve in your ability to
communicate using English or Spanish in social settings and within the business
world, it is the hope of the ISE that your quality of life will
improve greatly.

History of ISE
All Nations
Literacy Movement, was founded twenty-eight years ago by Morris and
Lois Watkins. Their life’s vision and work focused on providing both
a tool (Bridges - EBL/ESL Workshops) and method (Bridges, EBL/ESL curriculum) for
reaching the people of the world with the English language.
Obviously, both Morris and Lois were extremely passionate about this
vision and before they both succumbed to cancer, they sought
carefully to whom they would entrust their vision. The man they
chose was Stephen Higgins, CEO of The Briarwood Goup.
Both Lois and
Morris felt strongly that Mr. Higgins shared their passion for
providing EBL/ESL courses to the people of the world and would be
the right person to take this EBL/ ESL program to a level that they
had only dreamed of. Therefore, all copyrights to the All Nations
Dictionary and Bridges curriculum were given completely to Stephen
Higgins and are presently under the leadership of The Briarwood
Groups - International
Schools of English. Using his 29 years of experience working with
people and in leadership positions nationally and internationally he
bring a wealth of knowledge of people groups and real life
experience.
